Overview
In 2024, I was interviewed and featured in Britishpedia Magazine, a publication that documents and highlights successful individuals across Singapore and Malaysia through its Successful People series. The feature presents my background, education, professional experience, business journey, and community involvement.
Background and Early Influence
My creative background is influenced by family heritage. My great grandfather was an artist specialising in Chinese calligraphy and originated from Nanhai District, Guangdong Province, China. This artistic lineage contributed to my early exposure to visual creativity.
Education and Professional Foundation
I obtained a Diploma in Graphic Design from Dasein Academy of Art and completed my secondary education at Kuen Cheng Girls’ High School. I have also undertaken studies in meditation and Human Intelligent Technology.
Career and Business Journey
My professional experience includes working with MAWS, Nanyang Siang Pau, London Biscuits, and Eu Yan Sang, where I gained experience in graphic design and creative services.
Since 2013, I have been the Founder and Executive Graphic Designer of Ycube Branding Sdn Bhd, previously known as Ycube Design. The company provides branding, graphic design, printing, UI design, website and application development, and digital marketing services, serving clients across Malaysia, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
Community Involvement and Skills
I am actively involved in JCI Skudai Baru and have held leadership roles. I am also a member of Persatuan Kebajikan Wanita Penyayang Johor Bahru and participate in business networking organisations.
I am proficient in English, Malay, Cantonese, and Mandarin, and my personal interests include art, calligraphy, and travel.
